Beolingus german11/30/2023 Within each search result entry, the BEOLINGUS Dictionary provides a variety of information and features to further aid the user. A link to the main search feature appears in the upper left corner of each webpage in the dictionary. For example, both the English library and the German bibliothek yield the same bilingual entry of ten potential results. Instead, users simply type a German or English word into the search box, which equally produces search results. Unlike most other dictionaries, the BEOLINGUS Dictionary does not require the user to select the from and to languages for translation. The homepage of the dictionary website is also the main search box, allowing users to quickly and easily begin searching. The main search feature of the BEOLINGUS Dictionary is incredibly user-friendly for speakers of both German and English. For more information on the background of the online dictionary, please consult the About BEOLINGUS webpage. Members of the BEOLINGUS team working on the dictionary include faculty of the English Language & Linguistics department at the TU Chemnitz and specialists of English and German pronunciation as well as experts on website organization, technology, and integration. Work on the project began in 1995 and continues through the present. BEOLINGUS Dictionary is a free online German-English dictionary developed by the BEOLINGUS team at the Chemnitz University of Technology (TU Chemnitz) in Chemnitz, Germany.
